This P.U.M.A. Squad session will take place on Sunday 24th October from 10:00 to 13:00 at our regular venue, Yate International Academy (Sundridge Park, Late, Bristol, BS37 4DX).
To help us manage things we ask that you register your interest in advance using the following link https://forms.gle/ghncwNsxoq5vFhc68. In terms of payment we are going back to the previous system of paying on the day (cash or cheque). You will not need to complete a form on the day, one of the coaches collect the monies prior to the start of the session and simply note down names/the amount paid. A reminder that the cost of the session is as follows:
Individual/First Family Member: £15
Subsequent Family Members: £10
We will be continuing with sparring and contact work at this session and so would ask students to bring their sparring equipment and focus pads along. If you have any concerns about contact work then please speak to one of the coaches on the day (or drop me an email in advance) and we will arrange alternative options as much as possible.
Whilst we are trying to get back to normal as much as we can we ask that you still maintain good hygeine (regularly washing hands / disinfecting equipment etc).
If you are required to isolate or have failed a PCR test then we must ask that you don't attend.
A couple of quick things further to the last session and feedback from the staff.
Chairs - no chairs are to be used in the hall itself, even if you put something under the feet (whilst this may stop the floor being damaged the centre have asked us not to use chairs and so I will need to ask you to sit in the balcony area if you wish to bring your own chair.
Smoking - the staff advised me after the last session that the site is a non-smoking site (even outside) and so if you wish to smoke we need to ask you to leave the site altogether if you wish to have a cigarette.
Apologies for any inconvenience that the above may cause but they as the staff have specifically raised both issues we need to adhere to their rules.
As always, if you have any questions then please don't hesitate to ask.
