Holland Cup (23^rdand 24^th of May)

The PUMA Squad has attended the Holland Cup every year since it started and the tournament is a firm favourite with competitors and spectators alike.  PUMA will once again be looking to take a big team to this event and we will be looking to announce selections at some time in March to give plenty of preparation time. Even if you are not selected to receive funding I would strongly encourage you to consider attending this event which is probably the friendliest and most professionally run event that we attend.  Falling as it does on the bank holiday weekend at the end of May there is also the opportunity to extend your stay and enjoy a holiday as well.  Delft is a very picturesque town andthe beach at Den Haag is only a few miles away and Amsterdam less than an hour away. 

ITF World Cup (5^thto 11^th October)

Quite simply the biggest event on the calendar!  Held every 2 years the ITF World Cup regularly attracts over 1,500 competitors and this figure could well be nearer to 2,000 this time round.  The PUMA Squad has attended the past 3 World Cups with a great deal of success and we will be looking to continue this trend again in Slovenia.  This is a truly global championships open to Blue Belts and above (aged 13 and up).  Due to the size and competitiveness of this event we will be starting training for it from January 2020 and so you will need to be committed from this date forwards.  If you wish to be considered to compete at this event then please advise me before the end of the year as a lot of planning will be required.  In addition to the regular PUMA Squad training sessions there will be some additional smaller sessions just for those who will be travelling to the World Cup.  

If you are interested incompeting at the World Cup then we would expect you to compete at a minimum of 2of the other tournaments listed above (PUMA International Open, Open Dutch andHolland Cup) and to be able to make around 90% of 2020 training squad sessions.
