For 2019 Master Gayle will be giving a weekend seminar on Patterns –
“I’ll be relating/discussing the meanings of the patterns and the philosophy behind each pattern meaning, hopefully trying to give us all a better understanding of why the meanings are important”
There will also be a junior session with Master Gayle!

Summer Camp attendees will be taught some sparring skills through pad work and 1:1 sparring drills.
Ground Defence - Mr Pixton V and Mr Evans V
Ground Defence
Mr Pixton will give an seminar on ground defence principles. This will follow on from the current syllabus of PUMA Ground Defence Seminars he has been hosting throughout 2019 accross the country. He will be assisted by Mr Evans V.
Freestyle Weapons - Mr Dowling IV and Mr Coleman-Roberts III

with Mr Brett Dowling IV and Mr Ed Coleman-Roberts III
Both these experienced, energetic and dynamic martial artists will give a seminar on freestyle weapons use! This will include nunchuks, bo staff and number of other weapons. They bring fun and expertise to PUMA and their talent is not to be missed.
Anti Bullying (JUniors) - Ms Reeve IV

Body Language – Body Language informs the largest percentage of our communication. By looking at how we stand, walk and present ourselves to others, we can see how others may perceive us.
Understanding Bullying, and what to do about it – During this part of the course we look at what bullying looks and feels like. We examine the effects of bullying and give practical ideas about how to counter these effects.
Adrenaline and its effects – We look at the way fear causes the body to produce adrenaline, what that feels like and what we can do about it.
Safe Distances and Awareness – This section deals with the two arms length/four arms length rule.
Find your inner strength – Pad-work – During the pad-work section we gently encourage all the children to find their courage and their voice.
Portal of safety – A fun game to allow all the children to experience what has been taught on the course so far.
Cyberbullying – This section is aimed at the older group and deals with specific issues arising from texting and the Internet.
